Crafting Noose Knot Lanyards Using An Old Leather Shoelace

The primary purpose of a tool lanyard is to secure the tool to the user, preventing loss or accidental dropping, especially in challenging environments. I have been wanting to make a lanyard for my newly bought 8" Bahco adjustable wrench, purely for the appearance. The old leather shoelace that I kept from my old Frye Rainer Workboots became the perfect candidate as I knew I would use it for something else one day.

The leather shoe lace was used for my 6" boots so it's long enough to make another one for my pocket knife.

As a bonus, now I can just hang my knife on the tree branch decor without taking up the shelf space.
